This philosophy is reflected in the entire manufacturing process. A healthy environment is the basic prerequisite for a good life and human health. By using vegan materials with a high recycled content, free of harmful substances and partially biodegradable, NOAH shoes and accessories are environmentally and animal friendly - without having to sacrifice wearing comfort and elegance. The shoes are manufactured in selected Italian shoe factories. There, the shoes are carefully handcrafted in the traditional manner. Through personal selection and regular visits to the factories, we ensure that fair working conditions exist and are observed for the workers. Our shoes thus leave a responsible footprint that is both socially just and ecologically sustainable. NOAH also stays true to its principles when it comes to shipping the vegan shoes and accessories, and takes care of our environment when it comes to the cardboard boxes and filling materials used. NOAH only uses cardboard boxes that are mostly made of recycled paper. The filling material is 100% recycled paper. In the event of an exchange, NOAH uses the returned cardboard for the second shipment. The tape used to seal the packages is made of paper and the glue is water-based and also contains no animal ingredients. In our offices, we use electricity generated by our in-house photovoltaic system...and if the sun doesn't shine, NOAH uses green electricity. Since spring 2022, NOAH also plants a tree for every incoming order.
